Dedicated Mi5er’s Help Clean Up a Local Park
On a gorgeous Saturday in late September a hardy team of Mi5 staff, family and friends helped make the scenery even more beautiful in Etobicoke’s Marie Curtis Park East.
Several bags of trash, discarded items and some dangerous waste were collected from the environment and disposed of safely in proper recycling and garbage facilities. Even an old truck tire was pulled from the river by tenacious teenagers motivated by their will to help the community – and a hot pizza picnic.
“This was a great event! A fun way to get out in a park for a few hours, pitch in to clean it up and catch up with colleagues, kids and friends. Everyone felt good. Big thanks to the great team for pulling it together and helping out.” said Derek McGeachie, President and CEO. “Looking forward to the next one!”
